Where can I buy guest cards?

Guest cards can only be purchased by students who are not studying in Uppsala. Guest cards can be purchased at all nations and student unions. To purchase at a nation, please refer to the nations' own offices and Kuratorskonventet’s guest card office at Övre Slottsgatan 7. To purchase at the student unions, please contact them in advance or visit during office hours.

How much does a regular guest card cost?

1 week, 150 SEK

2 weeks, 225 SEK

4 weeks, 400 SEK

What do I need to bring with me, if I want to buy a guest card?

You must bring ID and valid proof that you are a student at a university or college. Proof can be, for example, a student union card/Mecenat card/student card showing which educational institution you are studying at. Questions regarding valid cards/certificates can be sent to our email, gk@kuratorskonventet.se.

If a student-ID does not have an expiry date or has an expiry date of more than one year, current studies must be verified in another way.

Students at “Folkhögskolor” or KY (Kvalificerad Yrkesutbildning)/YH (Yrkeshögskoleutbildning)-programs are not eligible for guest cards.

Students taking distance learning courses or courses at Campus Gotland can purchase guest cards. Distance learning students at Uppsala University should contact their department to obtain a certificate proving that they are taking a distance learning course. For students taking courses at Campus Gotland, please download the certificate from this page. Bring the certificates with you when you purchase a guest card.

You can always purchase a guest card for a friend if you can present the original or a copy of their ID and proof of active studies (student ID, registration certificate, etc.).
