Student unions

A student union is an organization for and by students. The student unions work to monitor and participate in the development of education and study conditions at Uppsala University. The most important task of the student unions is to ensure that you as a student receive a high quality education. The student unions elect student representatives on boards and other decision-making bodies within Uppsala University; from program councils to the University board. Student representatives use their influence to ensure that our education is up to standard as well as coming up with and presenting suggestions for improvements and changes. At Uppsala University, there are six student unions. Together they coordinate issues and processes of mutual interest through the organization Uppsala University's United Student Unions (UUFS). Student unions also promote the students' situation in other ways, by arranging social activities, for example through welcome receptions for new students. The student unions also work to lower the thresholds between studies and working life through labor market days.

Uppsala studentkår

Uppsala Student Union is about quality assurance in the education at Uppsala University through education monitoring and student influence. As a student union, we have a special responsibility to be the students 'voice and present the students' perspective towards the university but also the municipality, the region and other actors who influence the conditions for studies in Uppsala.

Farmacevtiska studentkåren

Represents all students at the Faculty of Pharmacy. We offer study places, information about career paths, sports activities, cafés and pubs to make your study time as good as possible.

Uppsala teknolog- och naturvetarkår

Are you studying engineering or science in Uppsala? Then we are #yourstudentunion! We are improving your studies and student life at the same time. River rafting, study supervision, receptions and much much more. Membership is free!

Gotlands studentkår Rindi

Gotlands studentkår Rindi is the union for students at Campus Gotland. We offer both union related and social activities. Welcome to our Rindi!

Juridiska föreningen

The Uppsala Law Student Association is the student union for those who are studying at the law faculty at Uppsala University, and is a non-partisan and religious neutral association. The union conducts education-related and social activities as well as establishing contact with employers.

Uppsalaekonomerna

Uppsala Business & Economics Students Association is a student union for economics students by economics students, but regardless of what you are studying you are always welcome. Membership is free.
